This, and the other two in the series, (Dawning I and Dawning III), were painted with a slightly different colour palette, which surprised me. At first I though it quite dull. But they turned out looking like the light does early in the morning when it creeps into day. Please hover your mouse over any part of the painting to get a closer view.
The boxed wooden canvas is made by me from discarded wood. I always like to paint around the sides too (see photo below).
